Dear friends,
I would like to thank all of you who participated in the Couple’s Retreat this year and those who kept us in their prayers. God made it a success. I want to give a taste of what we covered in the retreat. Our theme was: Weathering the Storm in the seasons of Marriage. We learned on Friday night to stay the course and do not give up. Our recourse is found in Psalms 107:6, “Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress”. In the midst of our storms, we need to cry out to God. In order to stay at it, we need to stay on our knees. God wired us to win and overcome the storms. However, we must stay connected to Him. Don’t run, don’t leave your spouse or family, don’t blame anyone for the storm. There is value in the storm and lessons to be learned from the storm. To be continued. Have a blessed Sunday.
