Dear friends,
As we continue the series on the storm , we learned #1- There is a reason for the storm God allowed in your life. Lesson #2-Through the storm, you discover who you really are in Christ, your strengths and weaknesses. In the story of Job, we get to see a man who was not serving God for material possessions. He had high esteem for His Lord. God was his number one priority; everything/everyone else was secondary. When they told job about all his losses, he did something extraordinary and unbelievable, he worshipped (Job 1:20). How many of you will worship God if things don’t go well? We are so consumed with ourselves; we are so attached to being comfortable in this life that every little inconvenience bothers us. The way we react in the storm says a lot about our character and our relationship with God. Take time to evaluate yourself. Stop looking at other people’s behaviors. Stop pointing the finger at others. Stop judging others when they are going through their own storm. Instead examine yourself, weigh yourself in God’s balance. You will be surprised at the results.
