Dear friends,
I heard a story about a boy whose father promised to take him to the movies. The little boy got dressed and waited at the door step for his father to pick him up. The father never came. The next day, his father called and apologized for not coming. He told the boy I will come get you next weekend. The little boy waited at the doorstep again until he fell asleep. The father never showed up. The next time the father called and said I will pick you up, he did not believe him. Now, this story reminds me of my Heavenly Father who never lied or made excuses about anything. All his promises are true. He remains true and faithful even if we are not. God promises us that He will take care of us, just trust Him. We rather put our trust in human beings instead of in our powerful, faithful God. God never promises that we will be rich and that everything will be all great, but He says I will take care of you and make provisions for your life. Would you trust Him today? He is Faithful.
