Have you ever felt tired, exhausted physically and emotionally? Have ever felt that you’re going through the desert of life, hot, thirsty and running out of steam? You are not alone. Hagar, mother of Ishmael, felt the same way when Sarah, Abraham ‘s wife, asked her to leave the house with her son. In Genesis 21, they were walking in the desert and the water was gone. Hagar, feeling hopeless, left the boy to die.
Ismael was crying and the Lord heard him. The Bible said, “Then God opened her eyes and she saw a well of water. So she went and filled the skin with water and gave the boy a drink”. In the desert of your life, discouraged and exhausted, ask God to point you to fresh water so you can be renewed and strengthened He is able to sustain you. Be blessed
