Weekly Devotion: The Immutability of God. As you know this morning the time has changed, pushing the clock ahead. Many of us will lose one hour of sleep. During our lifetime, seasons, temperature, culture, people and even we will change. However, God will never change. He is immutable. Psalms 55:19 says, “19 God, who is enthroned from of old, who does not change—…”. Isn’t refreshing to know no matter what circumstances we find yourself in, God will not change His mind about us. He will not love us less; His promises remain true. Many times we put our trust in someone thinking that person will always be there for us, then we find out that the person or circumstances change. We are left fighting for ourselves. If you have to rely totally on someone today, make sure It’s God. He is the One that will not change. Think about it.
