Many of us wake up in the morning with a “loser mindset”. We make up our mind that nothing positive is going to happen in our lives today. Therefore, we settle for less. We say, why go the extra mile at work? The boss does not even like me. Why should I go above and beyond at school? My teacher doesn’t appreciate my diligence to pass the class. The list can go on. By thinking and acting in such a manner, we already choose the outcome of our day or lives. Paul said in 1 Corinthians 9:24, “Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.” Many of us run the race of life as losers. When others are advancing their career, education, ministry, etc., we become jealous. Don’t be jealous, just run as a winner. Run for the gold. If you don’t get the gold, at least you will get the silver medal. Have a winning Day.
