“When Life Throws you Lemons”
As human beings, there is no way to escape the lemons of life. We all have to deal with some unexpected turns or circumstances in life. Now the question is: how do we respond or deal with these lemons?
Since we are all different and are in different stages in our lives, our response will reflect our views. However, the Bible has given us multiple examples of how God intervenes or wants us to react based on the circumstances. In Psalms 46:10 “Be still and know that I am God”. In the midst of mountains falling and chaotic situations, God wants us to be still. It’s not easy to do. However, verses 8 and 9 talk about God’s power and strengths. When you and I start focusing on how big is our God, then everything else around us becomes small, that includes our circumstances. Sometimes, we need time to reminisce about what God has done before we can be still. We are going through a period of our lives where we have to be intentional to reach this stillness. Reflecting on the attributes of God can help us get there. To be continued.
