We continue today with our series”When Life Throws you Lemons”. Last time we saw that God wants us to be still and knows who He is. This week, we meet Elijah, the fearless prophet, who was depressed. He went and hid under a tree asking for death. Elijah was tired and burnt out. God’s intervention in the life of Elijah was amazing. He did not push him, rebuke him or force him. Instead the Lord nurtured and provided for him. He fed him (1 Kings 19:7-8). He said to Elijah, “Get up and eat, for the journey is too much for you.” Listen my friends, our God knows how to deal with us depending on the type of lemons we have in our hands. Elijah needed to be fed and be strengthened. In the midst of your circumstances, God will always make the right provisions for you. He will give you exactly what you need for the journey. Just trust Him.
