Many of us want to change something. It may be a bad habit, our financial or living situation or becoming a better person. The first step towards change is admission. It is realizing that we cannot continue on that road and we must do something about it. The second step is be intentional about changing our situation. We need to have a written plan of what we are going to do. Remember the story of the Prodigal Son! When he realized that he was on the wrong path he said, “I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants. So he got up and went to his father. (Luke 15:8-20).” There was no procrastination. Ready to change? Then, make a plan and execute it. Change happens when we become intentional.
