Many of us think that happiness is synonymous with wealth, pleasures and good health. If this mindset was true, then you would think that all wealthy, healthy and pleasure-seeking people are happy. We know that is not true. Then what is the way to happiness? Happiness is not defined by what we own, how healthy we are or how much fun we are having in life. Happiness is being in a place of contentment no matter the circumstances we are facing. Happiness is the decision one’s made to look at life as a half full glass instead of half empty. Happiness is when we make the decisions to change our attitude towards life and our behaviors towards others. In Matthew 5, the Bible says “You’re blessed/happy when you’re content with just who you are—no more, no less….” (The Message). Think about that. To be continued.
