God’s two Guiding Companions to us- In the journey of life, everyone would love to have a faithful companion. They say, a faithful dog is man’s best companion. Psalm 23 :6a, tells us that in the dark alley of life, God gives us two faithful companions that are always with us to soothe our pain during tough times: goodness and mercy. “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…” (KJV). Mercy means kindness. When we are suffering injustice; when we are sick; when we are grieving losses or when we sin, goodness and mercy come to our aid. Are you in need of God’s two guiding companions today? There is no circumstance that is too extreme, no pain that is too excruciating and no sin too deep that goodness and mercy can’t take care of it. Don’t forget to call on them.
