Have you ever met someone that you would like to hang around him or her for their modesty? And you wonder sometimes: are they for real or is it all an act? We are living in a world where everyone wants to show off, promote themselves, want to be first in everything or show who they are. It becomes like a breath of flesh air when you are around someone that you can be yourself and without proving anything. Jesus Christ was meek. Everyone felt comfortable to approach Him and to be around Him: the sick, the thieves, the poor, the rich, the intellectual or the illiterate. They all wanted to listen to Him or be in His presence. Are you a meek person? The opposite of meekness is pompous, arrogant and conceited. To be continued…
