In life, I have not heard of or seen people that have been successful adopting a lone-ranger attitude. Doing it all alone attitude brings isolation, loneliness and discouragement. God, our Creator saw that it was not good for man to be alone, He created another being (Gen. 2:18). Jesus sent the disciples in pairs in the mission field. Paul had many companions in his journeys: Silas, Barnabas, etc. In Philippians 2:25, Paul called Epaphroditus, my brother, co-worker and fellow soldier. Someone who has helped him with his needs. In this time of uncertainty, we need to have people coming alongside of us for this journey called life. I am strongly encouraging the lone-ranger in ministry to adopt the Paul’s methods of servanthood. I am encouraging those who have difficulties to trust others to reach out to a professional for help in developing new relationships. I am challenging those who have taken their current friendships for granted to reconsider. Whatever you need to do in order to start or strengthen your relationship, do it now. Because Relationship Matters.
