Many people have gone through life passively. No one knows what they value or care about. It’s good not to be opinionated in all circumstances. However, there will come a time where everything you believe, you love is in danger, then you must take a stand. Joshua was in the same position back in the days. The folks were doing things that were against the God that brought them out of slavery. Joshua needed to dissociate himself. He said in Joshua 24:15, “But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day …. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Parents, when you are taking a stand for what you believe, don’t leave your family behind. Your children need to know what you believe and see you model it for them. Do you need to take a stand today?
