Winter, A Season to Appreciate.
There is a proverb that says: sometimes we don’t appreciate what we have until it’s gone. Winter is a season of bareness. We have naked branches, yellow grass, frozen ponds, short days and long nights. It is cold. Are you in a winter season of your life where everything is cold? Are you feeling depressed, alone, overwhelmed? Are you wondering if God hears your prayers? Will He ever come through for you? Let me remind you. God is neither dead nor deaf. What you are experiencing is part of life. This too shall pass. In the midst of bewilderment, appreciate the small stuff, the little wonders and miracles that happen everyday in your life. Appreciate God for who He is and for His power. In the season of winter, we are forced to grow and change our perspectives. To be continued
