Weekly Devotion: What’s Your Breaking Point? If we live long enough, we all at certain point in our lives, will face some type of hardship. Some of the unexpected circumstances will break us to the point of asking “where is God?” Does He really love us? However, there is one thing that is constant and does not change, regardless of our challenges in life, is the love of Christ for us. Paul said in Romans 8:35, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?” No matter the challenges we are experiencing in this life, God’s love for you remain the same. However, will your love for Christ remain the same. Job did not succumb when he lost everything, his wife did. Lot’s wife succumbed and turned into a pillar of salt. Will riches, poverty, sickness, etc. make you forget the goodness of Christ? Make a vow today and say nothing will break me to the point of turning my back on Jesus. Have a blessed day
